Covid-19 Statement
Airhole Operations
Airhole Facemasks takes the health and safety of our staff, our customers and our community very seriously. We believe that as a company we have a responsibility to do everything that we can to ensure the safety of everyone around us. Following the advice of local agencies and authorities we have temporarily closed our office and all of our staff are now working from home. We continue to be on hand to answer any questions you may have and can be reached through all of our usual channels.
Our warehouses in Kamloops, British Columbia and in Los Angeles, California are currently still operational with increased health and safety measures in place including an increase in cleaning procedures, a reduction in staff in each area and a reduction in total operational hours. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are updating our operating guidelines on a daily basis as a result of additional information received from relevant authorities.
At this time Airhole is unable to guarantee any of its shipping options and delays may occur with all shipping options as carriers deal with higher package volumes and reduced staff levels. We ask customers to please bear with us during this time.
Canadian Government Guidelines
Public Health Canada and the Canadian Government have stated that wearing a non-medical mask or face covering in the community has not been proven to protect the wearer however it is an additional measure that you can take to protect others around you, even if you have no symptoms. Airhole strongly recommends familiarizing yourself with all government of Canada recommendations. More information can be found one the Government of Canada website.
Dr Theresa Tam, Chief Public Health Officer recommended on November 3rd that an increased level of protection can be provided by non-medical masks or face coverings that utilize a 3 layer construction. All Airhole Daily Masks feature a 3 layer construction made from a fine woven cotton inner and outer layer and a non-woven polypropylene mid layer that acts as a filter. Further information can be found HERE.
US CDC Guidelines
The United States Centre for Disease Control (CDC) recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where social distancing measures are more difficult to maintain (such as grocery stores and pharmacies). The CDC also provides at home instructions for producing your own cloth face covering. Airhole strongly recommends familiarizing yourself with all CDC recommendations. More information can be found one the CDC website.
