The Airhole is standard on all of our masks and is designed to allow breath to escape freely, avoiding the build up of condensation to keep you dry, warm and goggles fog free. Stay out there longer.
I've had an airhole for years. My favorite facemask when snowboarding/ winter adventuring. I ordered two new masks recently. Both had messy stitching around the air hole. For the money I was pretty disappointed. I don't know if I would order again.
Spent 3 full days snowboarding in these, super comfortable and didn't fog up my glasses under my goggles! This mask was pretty thin so might not be best for super cold days and also because of the grey color I had this "wet spot" around my mouth which looked pretty silly. Probably a good idea to grab to black color to prevent that issue :)
This is the 2nd Merino Wool Airtube that I’ve purchased. The only reason I bought 2 is why I say ‘almost perfect’. After a morning on the slopes, at lunch, I sometimes notice that it’s wet in spots and it doesn’t always fully dry out before I put it back on for the afternoon. It’s thin enough, that I’ve decided to buy and back a 2nd one on those days were I want to trade it out at lunch. But otherwise, I love it. It keeps me warm without being bulky!

Hands down best mask for anything.
